Hero of the Evolution: Drug Educator Pete Dwan

My good friend Pete Dwan, the former British martial arts champion, has spent many years delivering drug education talks to kids in schools all across the UK. In fifteen years he has talked to over 100 000 children.
In fact, his work is so valuable and his talks so good that a few years back I was inspired to do a fund-raising walk for him (Walk The Kingdom 2015) that took me all way way from the South coast right on up to North Queensferry in Scotland via the coast – a walk over over a thousand miles – before a broken toe forced my to catch the bus home again.
Fond memories!
I’m glad to report that Pete is still going strong and now also provides an online course designed for children so that they gain sufficient understanding of drugs to make their own pro-survival decisions about drugs.
Pete’s website is very informative and inspiring and well worth a visit.
To give you some insight into Pete’s unwavering devotion to the cause of drug-free kids, here’s a snippet of what he has to say:
“[T]here is no duty more pressing or contribution more urgent to our society than a concerted effort to give young people some facts about drugs – facts that they can use to make reasoned well-informed choices that will help assure their future ability, success and happiness.”
